The Culture and Leisure unit in Östra Göinge consists of 24 employees, and we have activities in both libraries, music schools, culture, and leisure. We have five libraries, a swimming pool, a bowling alley, and two outdoor swimming areas.

The outdoor swimming areas are located in the towns of Glimåkra (Trollabadet) and Hanaskog (Hanskogsbadet).

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone who, with great commitment, wants to create good meetings and provide excellent service by being a host at our outdoor swimming areas during the summer of 2026.

As a host, you will be the face of the municipality and have many interactions with the residents.

You will work with various tasks at the municipality's outdoor swimming areas, such as being a host at the outdoor pool and being responsible for the entrance, kiosk, and cash services. Additionally, you will clean both public areas and changing rooms.

We offer a varied social job, and as an employee with us, you will help create comfort and safety for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply should have at least a high school diploma and good swimming skills.

It is an advantage if you have training in lifeguarding and an updated CPR & AED certification, as well as work experience in the field.

Since you will frequently meet our guests, it is important that you are open, positive, and have a sense of responsibility and service. You are proactive and drive the work forward.

You are safety-conscious, engaged, and uphold values such as mutual respect, tolerance, and openness. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and are customer-oriented.

As a person, you are creative, unpretentious, and communicative. Additionally, you are structured and can work independently while enjoying teamwork.

You value a good community in the workplace.

Language skills: Swedish and English
